Two Weeks Notice

The Seahawks currently have 80 active roster players, plus 7 more with NFLEL exemptions for a total of 87 players. That number must be down to 75 by August 28th (exemptions no longer apply). And then another 22 will get the ax by September 1st.

No changes, but Marquis Weeks is trying to make it as hard as possible to keep Josh Parry on the roster. None of the young offensive linemen have shown enough yet to unseat Floyd Womack. Injuries could play a role at tight end. And DT Craig Terrill (injury) or DE Baraka Atkins (unimpressive play) could find themselves out of a job if DE Brandon Green continues to play well.
